AWG Module
The AWG module provides the design template and simulation capabilities to build and optimise arrayed waveguide grating designs.
Echelle Module
The Echelle module opens up three grating design templates (Rowland Circle, Stigmatic and our own unique Perfect Chirped Grating) and the simulation capabilities to build and optimise them.
Connected Products
The following product is closely integrated with Epipprop and can greatly enhance Epipprop’s capabilities.
FIMMPROP
FIMMPROP allows you to model tapering waveguide effects including neighbour coupling and channel broadening using MMI waveguides in both AWGs and Echelle gratings.
PICWave
PICWave is a circuit level simulator for photonic integrated circuits (PICs). Results from both AWGs and Echelle gratings can be exported to PICWave to examine their behaviour with other components in a larger system.
