EPIPPROP is Photon Design’s bespoke tool for AWG and Echelle grating design and can be linked with PICWave so WDM components can be added to your PICWave circuit.
An EPIPPROP simulation will produce a scattering matrix spectrum, detailing how each of the input waveguides couple to output waveguides over multiple wavelengths. PICWave uses these results to create a time-domain surrogate model.
EPIPPROP is an instantly usable tool including ready-to-go templates, auto-layout functionality and export to GDS-II.
