Import AWG and Echelle grating models from EPIPPROP
Import grating models from EPIPPROP
AWG and Echelle grating simulation results from Epipprop can be imported into PICWave as a scattering matrix file, which describes the wavelength-dependant coupling between the ports of the component. From this, PICWave creates a time-domain component model which reproduces the behaviour of the AWG/Echelle grating, thus allowing it to be incorporated into time-domain circuit simulations.
