FIMMWAVE can import beam files from ray-tracing tools FRED and Zemax, allowing you to model the coupling of light from your lens system into your waveguides seamlessly. You can then model how the light propagates down the waveguide.

You can also export beam profiles at the output of your FIMMPROP simulation into FRED and Zemax beam files, allowing you to use the beam emitted from your waveguide as an input for your ray-tracing simulation.
